Pur cover band set the mood at the Löwenhof

Lohfelden. An authentic show by musicians who have accompanied one of Germany’s most successful bands: The Pur cover band “Abenteuerland” delighted more than 250 visitors at the Nikolaus concert in the Löwenhof.

The musicians around lead singer Carsten Heinze come from Braunschweig. They play all the big hits that made Pur famous. Real Pur fans can sing the lyrics to “Hör gut zu”, “Ich hab dich lieb” or “Lena” in their sleep anyway. It wasn’t long before Carsten Heinze brought numerous female fans on stage to sing the cuddly song “Princess” with them. When he then mingled with the audience, everyone in the Löwenhof had finally reached operating temperature.

“They are very close to the original,” said 44-year-old insurance saleswoman Michaela Schäfer from Lohfelden, who had come “without great expectations” but was thrilled by the cover band’s performance. Of course, the band took their audience to “Adventureland” over the course of the evening, made the “sparkling pearl eyes” shine and took out the arrows – musically speaking – with the legendary song “Indianer”. The concert became more and more of a happening and the dance floor was packed. You either like Pur’s songs or you don’t: the audience in the Löwenhof, including a surprisingly large number of young people, loved the music.
